Matt Lincoln is the weekday sports anchor for NBC12. 

Matt joined NBC12 in October of 2010. He graduated with his degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.  He grew up in Southeastern Massachusetts, and previously worked as a sports anchor in Monroe, Louisiana and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  

Matt has covered the Daytona 500, the Masters and many college bowl games, but he loves reporting on Friday nights in the Fall more than anything else.  You are more than likely to find Matt taking chunks out of fairways and throwing wedges into water hazards all over Central Virginia. mlincoln@nbc12.com
