RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - It's the end of the road for Saturn, but don't worry, the car maker isn't leaving you stranded.

Some Saturn drivers say they weren't sure where to take their car for repairs or if their warranty would still be good. Saturn of Richmond says you have nothing to worry about and you'll soon get a letter in the mail telling you what you need to know.

Some drivers say they're not sure what will happen after Saturn closes its dealerships.

"It is a little confusing," said Saturn owner Matt Harrington. "I don't know what I should do if the car has major issues and I need to take it back to the dealer.

Saturn of Richmond says your warranty will stay the same but where you get your car serviced will change.

"It won't be at this location for repairs," said Robert Goodman of Saturn of Richmond. "We'll still be in business for repairs, servicing the cars, doing oil changes and so forth but for warranty repairs, General Motors will be sending you a letter in the next week or two."

If you're concerned about Saturn parts, local automotive experts say you have no reason to worry.

"There's no problem with parts," said George Hoffer, University of Richmond. "Every Saturn product has another comparable GM product. The parts are all there."

Some owners say they were disappointed to hear Saturn is shutting down and sad to see it come to an end this month.

"I was a little upset," Harrington said. "This being my first Saturn, I like it and there had been other models I had driven that I wanted to possibly get in the future after this car."

Saturn of Richmond says it will stay open as Hyman Brothers Automotive and will now turn their attention away from Saturn vehicles to high-end used cars.
