Migraine headaches

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA (WWBT) - Dr. James Bush is helping people dealing with migraine headaches at Colonial Heights Medical Center.

Migraine headaches are chronic headaches that may last for hours or days.

Sometimes migraines may be preceded by an "aura", usually seeing flashes of light, tingling in an arm or leg, or other visual changes.

Medications can help migraine sufferers, but stress, hormone changes, certain foods, and other things can cause migraines to recur.  Educating yourself about these things can help decrease migraines as well.
