Roundabout to deal with Clover Hill traffic

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - An update on traffic problems around Chesterfield County's new high school.

Since Clover Hill High School opened several weeks ago, there have been complaints about getting in and out of the campus because there's no stoplight.

Now comes word that the county will spend $538,000 to build a roundabout on Old Hundred Road to fix the problem.

The school system would have preferred a stoplight, but according to VDOT, a study showed there isn't enough traffic to warrant one.

Construction wouldn't be completed until next year.
