RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - New details about plans to bring a popular American Indian sculpture to Richmond's Shockoe Bottom.

Earlier this year, the RMA board of directors approved a proposal to move Paul DiPasquale's "Connecticut" sculpture from The Diamond to the old Lucky Strike building overlooking the James River.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports a ceremony to unveil "Connecticut" at its new location will be held November 6 on Dock Street.

The event is also a celebration of Native American culture.

The paper says a dedication was scheduled back in the spring but the building's current tenant needed to get plans approved because the Lucky Strike Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
