RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Virginia teen is killed after a shooting at a party off the campus of Seton Hall University.
19-year-old Jessica Moore is from Disputanta. She was a sophomore honors student majoring in psychology.
A woman who was at that party said the gunman appeared to have no targets.
Witnesses say a man tried to crash the party but was turned away. He then came back with a handgun and started firing.
Five people were hit, including Moore.
"It really hurts a lot," said the victim's friend Brian Majors. "Lot of people have been calling me hysterical, and I have been trying to stay strong. It's a hard situation to get through."
Hundreds of students held a prayer vigil for Moore, many of them remembering how much she loved music and sports.
Right now police are still looking for her killer.
There's a $10,000 reward.
The university says it has no authority to regulate off campus parties.
