Two condos destroyed in Bon Air

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Two people are displaced after a early morning fire in Bon Air.

Two condominiums were destroyed by the fire in the 9800 block of Groundhog Drive around 3:00 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the fire started when someone did not properly extinguish a cigarette.

A Chesterfield firefighter was injured while battling the blaze.

The firefighter's foot was cut but he was treated and quickly released from Saint Francis Hospital.
