Ben Garbarek is a news video journalist for NBC12.

He joined NBC12 in September 2010 .  Each day he reports, shoots and edits his own stories.

Ben comes to Richmond after two years at WFIE, the NBC affiliate in Evansville, Ind., where he was a video journalist and Western Kentucky Newsroom bureau chief.

Ben is a Chicago native and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with degrees in journalism and political science. bgarbarek@nbc12.com
