RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond's first charter school is scrambling to work out a lease to use the Patrick Henry Elementary School on Semmes Avenue.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports school leaders told the school board this week they must come up with an agreement by October 18.

The charter school is trying to complete two phases of renovations before the fall  of 2011.

If no agreement is made, the school says it could lose a $100,000 grant.
