Police seek suspect in Gilpin Court shooting

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond police are on the hunt for a gunman accused of shooting another man in Gilpin Court Friday night.

Officers responded to St. John and West Hill Street around 9:00 p.m.

Police say a man was reportedly shot in the chest.

The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment.

No word on what led up to the shooting.

Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
