CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - The University of Virginia will install a new memorial marker at the Charlottesville bridge where Morgan Harrington was last seen alive.

The 20-year-old Virginia Tech student's remains were found in January, more than three months after she disappeared while attending a Metallica concert.

On Tuesday, the UVA Board of Trustees approved the installation of a plaque on the Copely Road Bridge.

The marker will be dedicated October 17, the one-year anniversary of her disappearance.

The investigation continues into Harrington's disappearance and death.
