Teen accused of park shooting goes to court

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - The man who police say shot one person at a popular Chesterfield park, is expected to face a judge Tuesday.

Eighteen-year-old Matthew Vance is accused of shooting a teenager near the basketball court at Rockwood Park last month.

Vance faces several charges, including malicious wounding, possession of marijuana, and two firearms charges.

He's expected in court at 2pm.
