Two dead after early morning shooting in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) - An early Friday morning shooting in Petersburg has left two dead and another wounded.

Petersburg Police responded to the 2300 block of Navajo Court at 2:20 a.m. Friday morning. Through their investigation, three gunshot victims have been identified. Two have died from their wounds.

Police seek information on a possible suspect however, few details are available at this time. The deceased have been identified as Nicholas Albrechta, 30, of Beaverdam Corey Tucker, 21, of Petersburg. Both victims died in the hospital.

The third victim, a 27-year-old male, is recovering at a local hospital. His wounds are not considered life threatening.
