RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - From kids clothes to fresh local produce, we have your Friday roundup of local sales to take advantage of this next week.

With school starting in a few weeks, Kids Closet Connection will save you big. This consignment sale features thousands of new and used clothes and toys that are discounted 60-90% off regular retail. The sale will be held at the Sheraton near Moorefield Park. It starts August 24 at 8:00 a.m. and continues until Saturday when most items are discounted another 50% off the already low price.

Want to avoid baggage fees on your next trip? The hot deal of the day is at walmart.com. They are offering a 3 piece luggage set for the low price of$15. The largest bag is 20 inches so it could limit what you pack. There is free shipping if you buy online, but if you need it now, the in-store price was slightly higher at $19.

Teachers, this one's for you. Staples is hosting teacher appreciation day Saturday August 21 starting at 9:00 a.m. The first 100 teachers to arrive will receive a free gift plus see the hottest new trends for their classrooms.

If you are considering a flu shot, Rite Aid has an added incentive. With the purchase of the $24.99 flu shot, customers will receive a coupon book offering $100 in savings.

And for those who like their produce as fresh as it can be, we introduce you to Relay Foods. They offer products from local farms, stores and restaurants and bring them together in one spot. You can choose what you want from their list online, schedule a pickup time and it will be there waiting for you. Use the code "takefive" when you checkout and you'll instantly get five dollars off your first order.
