DOSWELL, VA (WWBT) - A King's Dominion worker is in jail accused of inappropriately touching a child at one of the theme park's games.

Seasonal worker Dong Wang sits in the Pamunkey Regional Jail charged with aggravated sexual battery, but his attorney says there's evidence his client is innocent.

According to the Hanover County Sheriff's Office the 21-year-old from China is accused of touching a 7-year-old boy in a sexually inappropriate manner as he played a ball-throwing game. Wang was operating the booth.

According to the Times-Dispatch, Wang's attorney says his client denies touching the boy in a sexual way. He says Wang was trying to help the boy play the game by lifting him onto a counter. Wang's attorney says park surveillance cameras support his story.

The sheriff's office says it has two witnesses, including the boy's father.

Wang has been in jail since last month and is scheduled in court on September 2nd.

King's Dominion says it has about 300 international students working at the park this summer. Several workers even live at the park.
