Darren Fenceroy appears in court, prelim hearing set

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The best friend of the man accused of murdering a Richmond mother was in court Monday morning.

Darren Fenceroy, 27, is charged with a misdemeanor in the Tameka Claiborne murder case.

Prosecutors say Fenceroy helped move Solomon's car after Solomon surrendered to police.

Solomon has been charged in the death of Tameka Claiborne.

Her body was found on the bank of the James River in Charles City County in July.

A preliminary hearing in Prince George County General District Court is scheduled for Fenceroy on October 4.

Fenceroy made no comments to media after the hearing.
