RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - For the third straight week, Thursday storms have caused power outages and storm damage. The entire region saw some activity with Chesterfield, Powhatan County and Eastern Henrico taking some of the hardest hits.

Our viewers were the eyes and ears of this storm, capturing what they saw and sharing it with us on, our Facebook page and Twitter.

Powhatan volunteer fire crews spent much of the evening moving big trees out of the way of traffic across the area.

While it was wind and rain in Powhatan lightning was the big concern in Chesterfield.

Martha Melvin and her husband were in the middle of dinner when lightning cracked a tree in front of their house.  It left behind a mess, but it wasn't as bad as sounded.

In Eastern Henrico, traffic was slowed down on Miller Road after a tree toppled across traffic.

On Darbytown Road, power lines were down and trees were knocked around, but no serious damage was reported.
