Solomon charged with first-degree murder in Claiborne's death

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond police today served a grand jury indictment for first-degree murder on Michael Solomon, 28, in the murder of Tameka Claiborne.

Solomon is being held without bond in the Richmond City Jail pending an appearance in circuit court.

Day by day, new details have been emerging in investigation into Claiborne's death. She was Solomon's girlfriend.

Until today, Solomon was only charged with abducting Claiborne's three year old son, Malik Ellison. Malik was found a two weeks ago wandering alone in a Chesterfield County apartment complex.

Several days later, Claiborne's body was found on the banks of the James River in Charles City County.
