RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Upwards of 90 trees were toppled in the City of Richmond during Thursday's storm.

Extra crews were called in today to help cut them away from homes, power lines, cars and roadways.

A spokesperson for the city's Department of Public Works says crews will also be sent out Saturday.

Sharon North said that as of now, the crews are just cutting up the trees and leaving the logs behind.

She said the city will come pick up the tree remains later this weekend.
