HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Police say a medical emergency might have led up to a deadly crash on eastbound I-64 Saturday.
Around 4:00 p.m. police say 42-year-old Wanda Parker lost control of her SUV, went off the road, and overturned several times.
Parker was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
An 18-year-old passenger was also hurt in the crash.
He was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Eastbound traffic was shut down for about two hours while crash team investigators and emergency crews cleared the scene.
