RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -Sports fans around Richmond continue to mourn the loss of former Virginia Commonwealth University play-by-play man Terry Sisisky, who passed away Thursday night after a battle with cancer.

The T-man was best-known for his 28-year-run as the "Voice of the Rams," during which he called 840 VCU basketball games, including a stretch of 567 straight.

Sisisky was also behind the microphone for Randolph-Macon College football and many local high school events -- most notably for his alma mater, Petersburg High School.

He'll be remembered for his passion, enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication to sports in central Virginia.
