CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A part-time postal worker accused of abandoning the mail is set to go before a federal judge Tuesday.

Timothy Myrick, 20, will be back in court for his arraignment on charges of obstructing the mail. More information about the case is expected to be released.

In April, mail was found dumped in a Bon Air Creek.

If convicted he could spend six months behind bars and pay a $5,000 fine.
