3.6 earthquake near D.C.

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The D.C. area has been shaken by a minor earthquake.

The quake hit at 5:04 a.m. today and had a magnitude of 3.6.

A physicist with U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center says the quake was centered in the Rockville, MD area.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
