Henrico seeks Village Bank robbery suspect

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico County Division of Police needs your assistance in identifying the subject responsible for robbing the Village Bank located at 109 East Nine Mile Road.

Wednesday at approximately 2:15 p.m., the suspect entered the Village Bank and asked the victim teller the location of the water fountain.  After drinking water, the subject removed a handgun from his waistband, jumped the counter and demanded money.  He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running in the area of South Grove and South Elm streets.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5'7" - 5'10", 150 - 175 lbs, dark skin He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white t-shirt, dark scarf or cloth around neck, dark sunglasses, black shoes, wearing a multi-colored (red, green, yellow, blue) cloth over his head.  He was armed with a two-tone (silver and black) semi-automatic handgun.
