RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Not only do you have to keep your hands clean when working in a restaurant, foods that are ready for customers to eat cannot be touched by bare hands. The state reminded restaurants of those rules in this Restaurant Report and the restaurants fixed the problems.

In Chesterfield, Top's China at 12276 Chattanooga Plaza had 4 critical violations. The report says employees were not washing their hands between handling raw foods and the next task. Violations were corrected during the inspection. The restaurant had two critical violations on a follow-up inspection, which were corrected. We contacted the restaurant but did not receive comment.

In Henrico, Arby's at 11298 Patterson Avenue had 4 critical violations. The inspector wrote that employees handled lemons with bare hands while placing them in the juicer.

Arby's sent us a statement saying, "We acknowledge the inspection that took place in June and immediately corrected the majority of the violations during the inspection. We appreciate the Virginia Health Department bringing this to our attention. We have taken the appropriate measures to ensure that this doesn't happen again."

You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner at this week's NBC 12 Hall of Fame Award winner. Denny's at 16102 Theme Park Way in Hanover has earned perfect scores on it's last five of six state health inspections. Said general manager Wanda Parnell, "It's through coaching and teaching our employees. Everyday we focus on doing the right thing for our guests."
