Fort Lee Quartermaster Company returns home

FORT LEE, VA (WWBT) - It was a heartwarming homecoming for soldiers at Fort Lee Saturday night.

Soldiers from the 267th Quartermaster Company of the army were reunited with their families after a year-long deployment to Iraq.

The redeployment ceremony brought many tears and even more smiles.

"It's incredible," said soldier Curtis Jefferson. "Long year been away from the family. Being back seeing them, best feeling in the world."

"The most exciting part of any deployment is the redeployment," said Command Sergeant James Sims.

The company's last mission was in Bagram, Afghanistan.
