CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) – This week's Fugitive Friday feature is Tremaine Raphael Mundrey. He's wanted by Chesterfield Police in connection with a robbery at a gas station parking lot.
The robbery happened here at a Texaco gas station at 6501 Iron Bridge Road in November of 2009. Police say three men approached the victim in the parking lot.
"They stole an iPhone, they also took the gentleman's wallet from him, rummaged through his wallet. As they rummaged through the wallet the victim fled actually he left the area to keep himself safe," said detective Kevin Bacon of the Chesterfield County Police Department.
Mundrey is wanted in connection with that robbery. Police say one of the three attackers pointed a gun at the victim and demanded cash.
"The other two subjects in the robbery got arrested and Tremaine was identified as that third suspect," Bacon said.
Tremaine's last known address is in the King's Forest neighborhood of Chesterfield County.
"We do believe that he is still going to be in the area and if he's not living here on a full time basis we do believe that he does come back and visit frequently," Bacon said.
Neighbors say they've seen Tremaine walking through the neighborhood recently.
"We're hoping that anybody who does see him in the Chesterfield area will go ahead and give us a call," Bacon said.
Police are determined to get Mundrey off of the streets.
"If he was willing to be involved in this robbery, he may be just as willing to rob somebody else so we are hoping to get him off the streets pretty soon," Bacon said.
