VMI assistant AD charged with stealing women’s underwear

LEXINGTON, VA (WWBT) –  On Monday, the Rockbridge County sheriff's office arrested VMI assistant athletic director for media relations, Christian Hoffman, on several charges involving breaking into a home and stealing women's underwear, according to WSLS.

VMI spokesman Col. Stewart MacInnis told WSLS that Hoffman has resigned from the school as its assistant athletic director.

Hoffman is free on bond.  When asked if Christian Hoffman was available for comment Monday afternoon at his home, a man looking exactly like Hoffman answered the door and said he was not.

VMI's 2009 football media guide states Hoffman helped write it.  It also credits Hoffman with the cover design.
