UPDATE: Court appearance delayed for substitute teacher allegedly drinking in classroom

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - The substitute teacher arrested for being drunk in a Chesterfield County classroom was scheduled to go before a judge today. The hearing was postponed until July.

Police say 50-year-old Sabrina Pado was drinking beer out of a water bottle as she taught a third grade class at Jacob Road Elementary.

She's charged with public intoxication and having alcohol on school property.
