RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond's code enforcement director has dropped a $1.2-million lawsuit against his boss and the city.

Roy Eidem originally sued Director of Community Development Rachel Flynn claiming she had humiliated and harassed him by calling him an idiot in front of co-workers.

Eidem filed an official grievance with human resources soon after the alleged incident.

Investigators concluded that the claim against Flynn was unfounded, but did say certain actions by Flynn "violated administrative regulation for business conduct" at City Hall which requires employees treat "every individual with respect and courtesy."
