RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The fate of the aging Richmond Coliseum could soon be decided.
The city has hired three consulting firms to inspect the 39-year-old building and help determine its future.
The study will cost Richmond and its corporate partners, Dominion, Altria, Genworth Financial and MeadWestvaco a total of $150,000.
It's expected to take 12 to 16 weeks to complete.
No word tonight on whether city leaders want to make repairs to the current building or tear it down and start anew.
