HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - A van crashed through the front of a store on Staples Mill Road at the intersection of Wistar Road in western Henrico County. This all happened about 11:30 Friday morning.

John Brown is the manager of Susan's Selections and told us moments after the van went barreling into his office, what was going through his mind.

"I thought I was pretty glad I was out of my office when it came through," said Brown.

Brown was sitting as his desk and then got up to check something in the back of the store. Just a few minutes later, the mini-van was in the middle of his office. Brown said the driver told him that her foot slipped off the brake and she hit her accelerator by accident. By the time she could react, the car was in the building. Despite the damage, Susan's Selections will be back to normal soon.

"It won't set us back long, we already have people here measuring the glass and should be back to normal business pretty quick," Brown said.

Brown and his boss Susan Campbell immediately went next door to an adult day care to bring nurses in to check on the driver to make sure she was okay.

Despite all the activity, business continues as normal at Susan's Selections.
