Family Dollar stored robbed in Richmond's East End

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – Richmond Police detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred Thursday at the Family Dollar store at 1720 Williamsburg Road.

Around 12:34 p.m. Thursday, a man with a gun entered the store and demanded money from the registers. The suspect took the money and fled the scene on foot.

The robbery suspect is a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds. He wore dark sunglasses, a black baseball cap, a black Dickies shirt over a white T-shirt and jeans. The suspect had a small goatee and wore an earring in his right ear.

Anyone with information about this robbery suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
