Deon Guillory is a reporter and producer at NBC12.

Deon has been a journalist for 10 years in several markets including San Antonio, El Paso and his hometown of New Orleans.

Prior to joining NBC12 in September 2009, Deon covered major events including the minutemen patrolling the U.S.-Mexico border and Congressional redistricting in Texas.

One of the biggest stories of his career so far has been covering Hurricane Katrina and the storm's aftermath on South Louisiana and Western Mississippi.
