Henrico police seek suspects in gas station robbery

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico police have asked the public for assistance in identifying the subjects responsible for robbing the Sunoco Gas Station in the 4300 block of Nine Mile Road on Monday.

At approximately 7 p.m., two black males entered the Sunoco Gas Station. One subject was wearing a red bandanna and the other a blue surgical style mask covering the lower portion of their faces. Both subjects jumped the counter.

One suspect displayed a chrome small framed revolver while the other assaulted the clerks with a baseball bat he retrieved from behind the counter. The suspects demanded money from the register and the fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of currency in a silver Chrysler 300.

Suspect 1: dark complexion black male, 18-24 years old, 6'2 - 6'5, small build, soft voice, wearing a faded black (or grey) hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, light red hat with a white bill, and a red bandanna over the lower portion of his face

Suspect 2: dark complexion black male, 18-23 years old, 6'-6'4, large build, loud voice, wearing a red jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt , dark blue or black jeans, white sneakers, a NY Yankees hat, and a blue medical style mask.
