RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - With the grief still fresh, family friends and loved ones will gather Monday afternoon for a final goodbye to Jacobi Hill - the 6-year-old boy who's family says died while under anesthesia at VCU's School of Dentistry last week.
The kindergartner was there to get two caps on his teeth.
About four hours after he arrived at the clinic, Richmond Ambulance Authority says it got a priority one life-threatening emergency call involving a 6-year-old boy; the problem was reported to be cardiac arrest.
It could still be weeks before we know what killed Hill.
The state is investigating exactly what led up to his death, and VCU has it's own internal investigation ongoing.
His funeral will be held at Walter Manning funeral home at 1 p.m.
