RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Finding affordable housing is on a lot of minds these days - and Wednesday night can be your first step to big savings with the new town housing complex in Church Hill.
Nail by nail, and wall by wall, volunteers are working hard to help you save some big bucks by constructing a 15 unit mixed-income town housing complex.
Some of the units will be available Wednesday night with a zero percent interest rate - and some extra work.
You'd join the three thousand Habitat for Humanity volunteers - who for the next several months will work to make sure the new community fits right in with the rest of the homes in Church Hill.
Wednesday night's meeting will start at 5:30 at the Peter Paul Development Center at 1708 North 22nd Street in Richmond. It'll go until 7.
The homes are set to be ready to move in by October of this year.
