22-year-old Richard Michael Price Shaffer of Bumpass was indicted by a grand jury for 20 counts of possession of child pornography today. He could face up to 100 years in prison.

Shaffer's arrest is the result of the efforts of CSI Louisa, a joint initiative between the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney of Louisa and the Louisa County Sheriff's Office.

In the past two years, CSI Louisa has taken dozens of predators off the streets.|

Louisa County Commonwealth's Attorney Tom Garrett recently announced his intention to seek restitution for victims of child pornography.

According to Garrett, images from this case "have been sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to determine if any of them are of known identified children."
