Suspect arrested in Midlothian Turnpike hotel homicide

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – Richmond Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide Wednesday at the Host Inn on Midlothian Turnpike.

Craig Butler was arrested this afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. without incident by officers in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Richmond Police is working with its law enforcement partners in West Virginia on Butler's extradition, according to police.

With the public's assistance, Butler was identified as one of two men wanted in connection with the April 28 murder of Brandon Justin-Louis Webb at the Host Inn, 6621 Midlothian Turnpike.

Investigators ask anyone with any information about the other suspect in this homicide to call Detective Michael Gouldman at 512-2950 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
