Kevin began working in the business at the early age of 11 (prior to knowledge of child labor laws) and continued until he left to enlist in the Marine Corps in 1986. Upon graduation from VCU, he earned a commission in the Marine Corps and served until 1996.
He returned to the family business serving in a leadership role in systems and accounting. Working within the community, Kevin has served on the Board of Directors for the Midlothian Rotary Club as well as chaired several committees. He gets involved in Bon Air Baptist Church by going on local mission trips throughout Virginia to help support children's ministries. Kevin enjoys flying helicopters, cycling and gardening.
As an off road tri-athlete, Kevin got his butt kicked at the Xterra National Championships in 2001. Trying to compete at 10,000ft was like sucking a milkshake through a pixi-stick.
Kevin was recently married and now lives with two girls, two cats, two cows, a sheep and goat. The family resides in a historic home located in Powhatan County.
