RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Thousands of NASCAR fans head to Henrico County ready for racing action.
The Bubba Burger 250 runs on the short track Friday night. Saturday, race fans will attend the Heath Calhoun 400.
Heath Calhoun is a retired us army vet and Purple Heart recipient.
The race is named for the contest winner who was nominated by his family and friends as the definition of a hero. Calhoun lost both his legs in Iraq.
In addition to a new race name, there are other new features at the track this year too - the folks at the track were kind enough to turn on the state of the art scoring tower for us Friday morning, and it looks like racing fans are in for a real treat.
