RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond City Council will meets Thursday to vote on its amendments to Mayor Dwight Jones' budget, but the Richmond chapter of the NAACP is already blasting the council.

It says some of the proposed budget amendments, will hurt African-Americans in the city.

The NAACP criticizes plans to cut the mayor's security staff by $200,000, as well as an amendment to abolish funding for the City Department of Minority Business Enterprise.
