RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Deer is the focus of a community meeting in Hopewell Monday night.

People have been complaining about the growing number of deer in their neighborhoods.

They say the deer are not afraid to walk up onto porches and patios. They also complain about deer destroying their flowers and shrubs.

Hopewell is teaming up with the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to host Monday night's forum.

It starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Appomattox Regional Library on East Cawson Street.
