Woman found shot in Henrico, suspects sought

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – Henrico police are looking for suspects involved in an overnight shooting.

Just before 1:30 Friday morning, officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of S. Laburnum Ave. and Greenleigh Rd.

When police arrived they discovered a woman in the street shot in the thigh.

She was taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say a man was reported running from the scene around the time of the shooting though no suspects have yet been identified.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
