New evidence links found t-shirt to Harrington

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) -- State police confirmed today that DNA testing has linked a new piece of evidence to the investigation into the murder of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington.

Police say a black Pantera t-shirt found on 15th and Grady Avenue in downtown Charlottesville was the shirt Harrington was wearing the night of her disappearance.

Harrington's body was found on a farm 10  miles outside of Charlottesville.

Saturday marks six months since her disappearance.
