SWAT called to arrest man accused of stabbing brother

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - An overnight standoff in Richmond has ended without incident.

Police went to the 1500 block of Limestone Drive just before 8:00 p.m. after a report of shots fired.

Officers founds a victim outside with a non-life threatening stab wound.

The suspect, was the victim's brother.

He refused to come out of the home, so the SWAT team was called in.

They busted in just after midnight and arrested 42-year-old Samuel L. Morton.

Morton is charged with malicious wounding.

He also got hit with three outstanding warrants meaning more charges are pending.
