No new taxes, changes to tax billing cycle

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)--Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones wrapped up his third town-hall style meeting with residents last night to talk  about his $637 million budget plan.

It calls for no new taxes and no major cuts to services in 2011.There are no furloughs but also no raises for city employees.

If you have a question, suggestion or complaint about Richmond's budget, we're on your side to help your voice be heard. On Tuesday starting at 4 p.m., we have representatives from Mayor Dwight Jones' office in our Call 12 Center.

You can call and talk to them, one on one, about the city's spending plan and proposed cuts.
