Teen sent to hospital after being shot in head

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Amelia county police are trying to determine how a teenage boy was shot in the head.

According to the Times-Dispatch, this happened on Dunn Street shortly after midnight Monday morning.

The county sheriff's department says the wound was the result of 17-year old male handling a firearm.

The victim was flown to VCU medical center and is listed in critical but stable condition this morning.

    The city is kicking out residents of the Chateau de Ville apartments in South Richmond, because the apartments are deemed unfit to live in - and "The relocation responsibility is that of the property and not the city of Richmond."
