Authorities investigating shooting in Mecklenberg

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Authorities in Mecklenburg County are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and four others injured.

The sheriff's department says 30-year-old Manuel Martinez was shot in the head at a home on New Hope Road Saturday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators think everyone was shot with the same revolver, but the identity of the shooter is unclear.

The case is still under investigation.
