RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A group of residents forced out of their homes due to a massive fire has gotten the green light to move back in.

Construction crews have completed work on one section of Chesterfield Square Apartments.

More than two dozen residents are expected move back into the complex Thursday afternoon.

The assisted living facility caught fire back in December - displacing more than a hundred people.

The office manager expects to have all the units ready for move-in by the end of the year.
